A romantic winter wonderland : snow-shoe walking
If you’ve never tried this sport, don’t wait any longer! The Lagolodge will fit you out with all the necessary equipment before going off to explore unknown territory and discover parts of the mountain inaccessible to others on foot. Walk across unspoilt landscapes and picnic in virgin snowfields. You don’t need to be a top athlete – everyone walks at their own pace to ensure maximum pleasure for all concerned. For the more adventurous or those wishing to find one of those romantic moments, we suggest a moonlight snow-shoe expedition. The ladies love it and what better way to finish the evening than with a delicious fondue of Valaisan Raclette in a cosy mountain refuge!
or maybe Cycling is more your thing…..
because the car really isn’t the best way to discover Crans-Montana. Here at the Lagolodge, you will find bicycles to rent either for a ½ day or full day. Pedal alongside the local bisses and waterfalls; follow the meadowland paths and feast your eyes on the 4000m summits opposite you. Cycle down to the bottom of the valley, through the old villages and sunny vineyards. The possibilities are numerous and accessible to everyone. Come on – climb on and you’re off!
or take to the water ….. on a pedalo
Wake up to a gentle breeze and a green-blue alpine lake outside your bedroom. Make the most of your stay by the lake and hire a pedalo. Let the kids take over the steering whilst you relax and admire the view. Life jackets are available for small children and a refreshing Marmotte beer will quench your thirst after all your efforts!
